Bee.Wise.Eco Limited, founded by Rita Smoldareva in November 2021, recently celebrated its third anniversary. As of January 2025, it has become a limited company.

Rita, a qualifying member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), also holds memberships with the Landscape Institute, the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). With a decade of experience, she specialises in Biodiversity Net Gain, protected species surveys, and UKHab habitat surveys. She holds a Great Crested Newt Licence (Level 1) and a Bat Licence (Level 1) and has contributed to reptile and great crested newt translocation projects.

Passionate about integrating technology into ecological surveys, Rita is a licensed and insured UAV operator. Her academic background includes a BSc (Hons) in Landscape Management (Land Use) (2013) and a postgraduate diploma in Landscape Ecology with GIS (2018) from the University of Greenwich, as well as an MSc in Connected Environments (2023) from UCL.

Dr. Laura Mazzucchi (Biotech Specialist) – Holds a PhD in Marine Biotechnology, with expertise in eDNA and climate change solutions.

Louise Payton (Ecologist) – Expert in protected species and regenerative design, with a background in conservation and environmental policy.

Aiden Dutton (Architectural Ecologist) – Specialist in sustainable architecture and permaculture, with experience in biodiversity integration within built environments.
